Next you need to cut off the sides that have the spikes, follow the couture of the fruit and start at the top cutting straight down. Use a good size knife that you’re comfortable working with.
Here is the trick to get the acid out of the fruit. After you have removed the skin, rub the pineapple down with salt. Let it sit for a few minutes up to 10 max and then rinse it well.
You can then slice it into rings and remove the center or into spears and so on.
