My Meal at Chili’s

The problem with chain restaurants is that they are controlled by the corporate offices. We went out to one the other night, three of us. I have a few problems with the layout of most places and here they are:
1. The noise in the whole place, for some reason the design them so that you have to yell at the person sitting across from you. I myself am not interested is what is going on with the other people. The design could be changed with higher backs on the booths and hanging sound absorbing panels in the ceiling. But let’s move on.
2. The food itself,
A. The appetizers are fair. The servings are good size and done well.
B. The main dishes are mixed reviews. The Rib eye steak looked good and the sides were okay. Now the Ribs that I was served were something else, I should have sent them back but the wait was long. They were dry and over cooked. I had two different styles the dry rub and there classic. What they call street corn was terrible. The corn must have been cooking for 6 hours water logged and not worth eating.
The other dish was ribs also, the ribs were not as dry with the chipotle sauce. The corn was just as bad as mine.
The second side dish of fries or onion rings kind of hard to mess them up.
3. Drinks were good, something about bottled beer is hard to mess up it is either cold or not.
If I ever go back to this restaurant is a good question, fool me once shame on you if I go back and have the same experience then it is a shame on me.

Not a good night out for dinner.
