Grilled Lamb Chops

This is an recipe using McCormick® Grill Mates® Garlic Herb & Wine Marinade.  I have use a lot of there other grillmates and enjoy them a lot.

One key point is to not over cook them, use a timer and only cook them for 3 minutes or so on each side.

Ingredients

  • 1 package McCormick® Grill Mates® Garlic Herb & Wine Marinade
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 pounds bone-in lamb loin or blade chops, trimmed

Instructions

Mix Marinade Mix, oil, vinegar, water, rosemary and mustard in small bowl. Place lamb chops in large re-sealable plastic bag or glass dish. Add marinade; turn to coat well.

Refrigerate 15 minutes or longer for extra flavor. Remove lamb chops from marinade. Discard any remaining marinade.

Grill over medium-high heat 3 to 5 minutes per side or until your desired done.

The meat turned out great, the one thing to keep in mind is to use good Balsamic vinegar the sweetness is well worth the little more that you will pay.  And after all you don’t use that much of it at one time.  The balsamic vinegar will sugar up on the grill.  Remember it is easy to make your own Mayo too.

Anyway the picture only shows one chop and that is because the tribe came in and attacked the stack of cops before I could get a picture of them all.
